REGIONAL PERSPECTIVES FOR THE AMERICAS

The objective of the Second WMU Regional Conference for the Americas is to bring together government representatives, industry actors, international organizations, maritime and ocean training institutions, experts in thefield and WMU alumni to discuss the opportunities and challenges for the development and implementation of maritime transport and ocean policies in the region. The Conference will also provide a forum for cooperation to enable the countries in the region to move forward with the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and in particular Goals 4(education), Goal 5 (Gender), Goal 14 (the oceans). The Conference will offer simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish.
