Emily is the Outreach Officer at WMU. She joined WMU as an intern in the fall of 2022 to conduct fieldwork for her masters degree in Applied Cultural Analysis. She wrote her thesis on the subject of “Cooperation and Friction: The Sustainable Development Goals as a system of belief within a United Nations specialized agency.”
In addition to her masters degree from Lund University, Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Georgia (USA). Her work experience includes serving as the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources (UGA) and as Communications Coordinator for the Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg.
Emily es el Oficial de extensión en UMM. Se unió a WMU como pasante en el otoño de 2022 para realizar trabajo de campo para su maestría en Análisis Cultural Aplicado. Escribió su tesis sobre el tema “Cooperación y fricción: los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible como sistema de creencias dentro de una agencia especializada de las Naciones Unidas”.
Además de su maestría de la Universidad de Lund, Emily tiene una licenciatura en Asuntos Internacionales de la Universidad de Georgia (EE.UU.). Su experiencia laboral incluye desempeñarse como Directora de Relaciones con Antiguos Alumnos y Donaciones Anuales en la Escuela Warnell de Silvicultura y Recursos Naturales (UGA) y como Coordinadora de Comunicaciones del Centro de Investigación Europea de la Universidad de Gotemburgo.
