The Conference will be delivered in English and Spanish through simultaneous translation to both Spanish and English will be available respectively. The Conference will follow the below structure:

  • 17 September 2024: Welcome Reception at Torre Tagle Palace (By invitation only)
  • 18 September 2024: 1st Conference Day at the Peruvian Naval Academy
  • 19 September 2024: 2nd Conference Day at the Peruvian Naval Academy
  • 20 September 2024: Cultural Field tour (optional)

Hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, the Welcome and Evening Reception will unfold at the magnificent Torre Tagle Palace, a paragon of Lima’s historical and cultural splendour. 

This special event, designed to warmly welcome participants of the 47th Conference on Oceans Law and Policy, will take place in one of Lima’s most iconic and elegant venues.

The reception will not only mark the formal beginning of the conference but will also serve as a splendid opportunity for delegates to engage in enriching dialogues, forge significant connections and have and an immersive experience in Peru's vibrant heritage.
