Executive Vice Chairman of the Korea Shipowner’s Association
For the past 35 years, Dr. Chang-Ho Yang have devoted his career to studying Korea’s maritime, port, logistics industry as a researcher and professor.
He has B.A. from Yonsei University, MBA in Business Administration from Yonsei University and Ph.D in Business Administration from Sogang University.
He served as a Senior Research Fellow (1987-2008), and as the President (2016-2019) of the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) and as a professor of Graduate School of Logistics, Incheon National University (2008-2021).
He wrote a total of 26 papers, 22 textbooks, book and research reports, and 36 project reports, and contributed about 200 columns to the media. His primary research interests are in the areas of ‘Maritime Economics’, ‘Port Operation and Development’ and ‘Transport Logistics’.
He is currently holding a position as Executive Vice Chairman of the Korea Shipowners’ Association since January 2023.
