Ms Kristine Dalaker Kraabel is a PhD Research Fellow at the K.G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea (JCLOS), UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø. Her research focus includes ocean law and policy issues. The working title of her PhD thesis is “The Institutional Arrangements Necessary for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction.” Kristine is the former Associate Director of the Centre for International Law (CIL) at the National University of Singapore, where she assisted the CIL Director with administration and special projects and supported the CIL research staff with all aspects of editing and publication. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Westhampton College at the University of Richmond, where she majored in Political Science and Economics, and her Juris Doctor at the University of Richmond School of Law.
