Founder, Maritime SheEO<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sanjam Sahi Gupta<\/strong> is Director for Sitara Shipping Pvt Ltd.She is an advocate for gender diversity in maritime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a founder member of Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) India thereby creating a platform for women in maritime in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a major force in bringing out the “Diversity Handbook” in 2018 and the second version in 2022 by WISTA International along with ISWAN and Anglo Eastern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She’s a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the World Maritime University .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2018, she was the recipient of the Sandvik Gender Award \u2013for her outstanding contribution and commitment to gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2019 she was invited as part of a High Level panel initiative by The Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg for a Sustainable Ocean Economy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To further her commitment to Diversity in the maritime and Logistics industry, she has launched Maritime SheEO to provide solutions to the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is also part of the Diversity Committee of the International Chamber of Shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a gender expert empanelled by the UN ESCAP and International Maritime Organization and is committed to driving change for a more inclusive maritime industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
