{"id":1505,"date":"2025-03-05T09:21:32","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T08:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conferences.wmu.se\/wmugenderequality\/?p=1505"},"modified":"2025-05-08T14:33:36","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T12:33:36","slug":"roxanne-graham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conferences.wmu.se\/wmugenderequality\/roxanne-graham\/","title":{"rendered":"Roxanne Graham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>National Climate Change Adaptation Officer<br>Ministry of Climate Resilience, the Environment and Renewable Energy, Grenada<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roxanne Graham<\/strong> is currently the National Climate Change Adaptation Officer for Grenada, tasked with revising the country&#8217;s National Adaptation Plan as well as its Climate Change Policy. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant with the NF-WMU &#8220;Closing the Circle Programme: Marine Debris, Sargassum, and Marine Spatial Planning in the Eastern Caribbean.&#8221; This program, generously funded by The Nippon Foundation and hosted at the World Maritime University (WMU) &#8211; Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute, was where Roxanne also earned her PhD in Maritime Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>\nFrom 2017 to 2021, Roxanne was an Instructor at St. George\u2019s University (SGU), where she taught lower-level Biology courses and contributed to senior-level courses within the Department of Biology, Ecology, and Conservation.<\/p>\n<p>\nRoxanne also holds a Master of Marine Management degree from Dalhousie University, Canada. Before pursuing her Master&#8217;s degree in 2015, Roxanne served as a Project Assistant at Roberts Caribbean, Ltd.\u2014Environmental and Development Consulting.
