Experience include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-b11933d4-869b-443d-98ed-6a65af16fbe3\"><li>Former President of the Japanese Society\u00a0of International Law.<\/li><li>Member of the Governing Board of IMO International Maritime Law Institute.<\/li><li>Councilor for the Sasakawa Peace Foundation<\/li><li>Advocate for the Government of Japan in \u201cSouthern Bluefin Tuna\u201d Cases.<\/li><li>Counsel for the Government of Japan in \u201cWhaling in the Antarctic\u201d Case.\u00a0<\/li><li>Policy Adviser for the Japan Coast Guard.<\/li><li>Member of the Committee on Submarine Cables and Pipelines under the International Law Association<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Kanehara delivered a course of lectures at The Hague Academy of International Law in 2017, entitled \u201cReassessment of the Acts of the State in the Law of State Responsibility\u2015A Proposal of an Integrative Theoretical Flamework of the Law of State Responsibility to Effectively Cope with the Internationally Harmful Acts of Non-State Actors,\u201d which was published in <em>Recueils des cours<\/em>, Vol. 399 (2019).
