She directs the organization\u2019s engagement within and UN Environment Programme, including the ongoing negotiations at the International Negotiating Committee (INC) on Plastic Pollution, and the development of the Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and to Prevent Pollution, among other international fora. Erica has nearly 20 years of experience in conservation governance, including 14 years serving within the US federal government before moving on to the NGO sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Erica Nu\u00f1ez es directora de la Iniciativa de Pl\u00e1sticos de The Ocean Foundation, donde lidera la gesti\u00f3n y el desarrollo estrat\u00e9gico del compromiso de la organizaci\u00f3n en la pol\u00edtica nacional y las actividades de gobernanza internacional relacionadas con la lucha contra la contaminaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica.
