Ms. Eur\u00e9n H\u00f6glund is the head of the Swedish Delegation to the Intergovernmental Conference on an international legally binding instrument under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction, and has been actively engaged in the BBNJ process as representative of Sweden since 2012. Ms. Eur\u00e9n H\u00f6glund is an experienced diplomat with experience from a broad range of foreign policy areas, including development cooperation, and fulfilled the Diplomatic Training Program of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2004.
